| The unique quick-release feature of the MK 1™ digital camera adapter provides a hassle-free way to digiscope with a Skyline spotting scope and many point-and-shoot digital cameras. Three steps to using the MK 1 digital camera adapter.Only when you're ready to digiscope do you need to make the final connection between scope and camera.Attach MK 1 adapter ring (48mm) to the threaded eyepiece collar of the spotting scope and secure the eyepiece in place.Slip MK 1 adapter tube over the eyepiece and thread onto the MK 1 adapter ring.Secure MK 1 digital camera base to your point-and-shoot digital camera.If you take these steps at the beginning of the day, you'll be set for digiscoping whenever you need the Skyline's extra magnification to capture that prized shot.Note: Digital cameras with manual settings work best for digiscoping. If your digital point-and-shoot camera has an aperture priority setting, open the aperture wide open and capture the scene with a shutter speed of 1/125th second or faster for the best results.Digital camera and spotting scope not included. |
